Job Description

GirlTREK is a life-saving sisterhood and the largest public health movement for Black women and girls in the United States, with over 1 million members walking towards health and healing. Our change theory is simple: we walk, talk, and solve problems together. This approach addresses the “Three Deadly Is” of inactivity, isolation, and injustice. On Juneteenth of this year, we just launched GirlTREK Underground, our mobile app for members. It's been received extremely well and we have an ambitious roadmap. We're looking for a Part-Time UX/UI Designer to work closely with the product team to improve the app's user experience and design new features. The work will include creating wireframes, prototypes, and designs ready for implementation by our engineering team, all done iteratively in collaboration with multiple teammates. The commitment is approximately 10 hours per week, with work continuing at least through the end of 2024.
